the biggest C64 demoparty series in the last decade, the X Party is comming up this weekend in Someren, Holland.

If i'd be younger [add any other excuse] I'd appear. Maybe I should learn to pigsel and work for an entry in 2 Yrs. (x only takes playe every 2nd yr)

To keep in touch with the party crowd I suggest to fire up IRC, watch scenesat and check The Digital Dungeon and CSDB permanently.

another Chameleon64 Core released - the MSX

these are amazing times for chameleon64 (a fpga based computer) owners:
another working Core has been released by alastair

The MSX2 Computer

This 8bit System was originally released in 1984 and is more or less a "standarized" computer, manufactured by a lot of companies.

The FPGA translation is called OneChipMSX and works quiet brilliant on the Chameleon64.

A lot of ginuine software has been produced (mostly in JP) like Metal Gear Solid or Space Manbow

Diese Woche hab ich mir mal wieder was gegönnt, auch wenn der Preis eher nicht existent ist :D

Zum einen das Spiel Life of Pixel
Ein Plattformer für moderne Computer, der einen optisch und akustisch durch die Welt der Konsolen und Homecomputer der 80 er führt. Ein wunderbarder Hüpf- und Knobelspass - und alles liebevoll gepixelt.








Der andere Renner ist Powerglove:
In der RGCD 16 KB Competition entstanden, weiter verfeinert und in der finalen Version auf Cartridge bei rgcd.co.uk erhältlich. Der Schwerigkeitsgrad ist hoch, aber Kinderspiele mit Yoshis und Marios gibts schon genug (und die spiele ich auch gerne, davon mal ab) ;)



Und als nettes gimmick haben die Macher des Spiels auch eine PC version gebastelt (die faktisch kostenlos ist)

Ich ermutige die werte Leserschaft sich der zwei Perlen des Retrogaming anzunehmen. Mögen meine Tipps ein wenig Kurzweil spenden
